An assailant whose weapon of choice appears to be vintage electronics is at large today, evading capture following a Market Street attack.

Police say that it all went down at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, at the intersection of Fifth and Market Streets. According to the San Francisco Police Department, the victim, a 28-year-old man, was walking in the busy tourist area when a man in his 30s "approached [the victim] and hit him with a radio."

The radio-wielding man fled on foot, according to the SFPD. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which they say are not life-threatening.

As of publication time, police say that the attacker remains at large, and no arrests have been made in this case.
