You've all been very, very patient, and for those new here you may have heard that we traditionally think of September as the start of our summer. After a particularly brutal summer, fog-wise, it is starting to look like Indian Summer, as far as September is concerned, will amount to just five scattered above-average-warm days: That Wednesday the first week of the month, last Sunday and Monday, and now this Sunday and Monday, with temperatures dipping back into the 60s by the time we close out the week, and the month.

As ABC 7 reports, just in time for Folsom Street Fair, a heat advisory has been issued starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, with widespread 90- and 100-degree temperatures throughout the Bay Area — though just a high of 86 in SF.

Monday will basically be just as warm, but a high of 83 is predicted in the city, 97 if you're out in Concord, as CBS 5 tells us.

So, try to stay in the shade unless you're really desperate for a tan, and stay hydrated! Also, consider tracking down one of these frosty beverages.
