"We wanted to put Donald Trump's antics in clear relief for all the world to see and remind them that our president is the leader of the free world, the person with a hand on the nuclear button," says ad executive Jeff Goodby of SF-based Goodby Silverstein & Partners, regarding a brief new ad the firm produced that shows a single, slow-motion shot of Trump during his infamous water bottle stunt mocking former opponent Marco Rubio back in February. "That person should not and cannot be Donald Trump. Just look at him.”

Via the SF Egotist, we learn of the ad that Goodby and partner Rich Silverstein just put online, as their own form of negative campaigning.

Troublingly we learned today that a new New York Times/CBS poll shows Hillary Clinton neck and neck with the Donald, with 67 percent of Americans saying she is not honest or trustworthy — up five percent since last month, in the wake of the FBI's announcement regarding her private email account.
