Soaring into Birdman of Alcatraz territory yesterday was pro-skater Tony "The Birdman" Hawk, whom Hoodline spotted cruising a temporary half-pipe at 12th and Harrison. In a lengthy skate-sesh video, you can see Hawk shred in what was a free, surprise vert demo.

Monsieur Hawk, Bay City News wrote in SF Appeal, gave SoMa's Skate Park at Mission and Duboce a $10,000 grant in 2011 as it was being built. Hawk was also observed there, hitting some rails and steps, though not pictured were the puddles of urine SFist learned last month have plagued the park.
