A woman was taken to San Francisco General Hospital Sunday morning, after she was struck by a Muni light rail vehicle near Duboce Park.

Bay City News reports that the woman was struck at 8:47 a.m. Sunday at Duboce Avenue and Sanchez Street, which is a block from the East Portal of the Sunset Tunnel to the west, and a block from the Church/Duboce subway tunnel to the east.

It appears that the woman's brush with the N Judah (as that is the only light rail line that typically passes through that intersection) was fleeting, as the collision scene was cleared by 8:54 a.m. According to BCN, she was transported to SF General "as a precaution" to treat injuries described as "minor."

A call to the SFMTA for further details on the incident was not returned at publication time.
