California Highway Patrol officers responded to a call reporting a super chill loose pig near Merced Ave. in Santa Rosa on Friday morning. Officer Ken Engers found the pig, which KRON said is estimated to be about 600 to 800 pounds. Engers said the pig was doing what most of us would like to have been doing the day after Thanksgiving, which was "sleeping in the sun, on the right shoulder, relaxing." Ideally, we wouldn't be relaxing on the shoulder of a highway, but you know what I mean.

The Santa Rosa CHP's Facebook page posted about the found pig, and the pig's owner responded (the pig's name is June). Here's the adorable exchange:

Good to know June is reunited with her owner, even though it seemed like she was having a pretty good time away from home. But I totally get it; we've all got to take a break from the fam during Thanksgiving at some point, right?

And please, don't hesitate to share your best pig puns in the comments yourself. It's been a rough couple of days. You know you want to.
