Perhaps in search of a new whip, Harrison Ford stopped by Hayes Valley tactical supply shop Triple Aught Designs yesterday. It should come as no surprise that the actor, whose plane-flying (and crashing) off-screen persona seems in line with his adventurous on-screen roles, chose a store known as much for its highly engineered knives and packs as its jackets.

Triple Aught Designs Marketing Manager Jon Bekefy told NBC Bay Area that the actor purchased two sweaters (which: standard tourist move), and that store employees were stoked on the encounter.

“The team was super excited to meet him,” said Bekefy. “We’re all big Star Wars fans here — Indiana Jones is also great.”

An unnamed store spokesperson told CBS San Francisco that they had no idea the actor would be stopping by the store.

“It was really a surprise and a welcome one at that.”

While we know that Ford ended up buying the sweaters, one can only assume he at least had his eye on something ruggedly badass like the $575 Custom Winkler Combat Axe.

There is no word on what brought Ford to San Francisco, or how long he will be in town. We can only hope he's scouting for a potential Frisco Kid reboot.
