The "Clean-Cut Bandit," who is suspected of robbing nine Northern California banks, including six in San Francisco, was arrested Friday in Los Angeles.

According to the Chronicle, Darius Gilbert was arrested at a hotel in Bel Air by the FBI. Gilbert bailed from a San Francisco halfway house at the end of March, before he completed a previous sentence for another bank robbery case, and authorities say only three days later he began a robbery spree throughout San Francisco and Northern California. The most recent robberies he's suspected of were on May 26 in San Rafael and Elk Grove.

KTVU reports that he used a knife in some of the holdups and a handgun in a recent case. Authorities dubbed him "Clean-Cut" based on his appearance in the robberies, which, according to KRON, included short-sleeve polo shirt, a bomber jacket, and aviator sunglasses. Stylish.
