Underdressed-dressed billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan, have spent the past 17 months renovating their 1920's Dolores Heights (what?) home and show no signs of stopping. The Chronicle's Matier & Ross confirm the obvious: that Zuckerberg-Chan's neighbors are over it.

A guy in a hardhat told M&R that 1) there was no way he was giving them his name, and 2) 40 to 50 workers have been on site every day since April of 2013, taking up parking places and using jackhammers, backhoes, and (one assumes) unsightly sidewalk port-o-potties, all so Zuck can get back at that broad who dumped him at the beginning of The Social Network.

The four-story home is on 21st and Dolores, just a block and a half from Dolores Park, itself no stranger to constant and unsightly construction. And the neighbors are getting really sick of the seemingly endless renovation project. Supervisor Scott Wiener, whose district includes the Facebook founder's really big house, has been contacted by several enraged residents but is staying out of it. He told the Chron, “It’s a common concern by neighbors because so many construction projects are going on everywhere in the city.”

That is the politician equivalent of saying, "I'm sorry you feel that way."

KPIX5 reports further on the shady parking situation, quoting neighbors who claim Zuck has hired people to actually sit in cars and save neighborhood parking spaces for his construction workers. This is in addition to the 4-5 parking spaces construction permits allow. (Five parking spaces in the Mission!)

No-name Hard Hat offered M&R the hilarious, “If this was over in Pacific Heights, people wouldn’t be saying it."

Ha! If this were in Pacific Heights, the Zuckerberg-Chans would be finding themselves knee-deep in a lawsuit from the Gettys, presented in court on a gilded scroll once used by the great Roman emperor Augustus Octavius.
