A magnitude-2.3 earthquake struck Contra Costa County this afternoon, CBS San Francisco reports.

The rattle happened at 2:02 p.m. today (August 12), about four miles northwest of Antioch and two miles north of Pittsburg. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake had a depth of roughly 10 miles. So far, no damages or injuries have been reported.

Last month, Contra Costa County had two, 2.5-magnitude earthquakes within the same 24-hour period. The first was on July 20, near the unincorporated community of Blackhawk, and the second on July 21, about a mile west of Concord.
