Our pals at Vegansaurus point us to this delightful report on a Panamanian animal rescue organization called APPC, where spouses and proprietors Yiscel Yángüez and Néstor Correa rescue, care for, and release sloths back into the wild.

According to Lucy Cooke, who traveled to Panama to make this short film for National Geographic, "as well as all the usual gorgeous baby sloths it shows a less cuddly side to adult sloths, which serves as a reminder why they should never be kept as pets." Dammit Lucy ARE YOU SURE? Well, OK.

Get ready to lose your shit at the two minute mark, when a sleeping sloth yawns, smacks his or her lips, and cuddles with a toy as it falls back asleep. It's deadly adorable.
