Faster than you can say "grilled-cheese cake," there's a food truck breezing through town tonight that is all mashups, all the time. It's called the Frankenfood truck, and it comes to us via the show of the same name on Spike TV, which premiers this Sunday. Yep, the food mashup thing will now reach the non-urban masses.

You can sample some of Frankenfood's franken-creations, like Fruity Pebbles-crusted chicken tenders and fried mac and cheese balls with Slim Jim pieces inside at Folsom Street Foundry (1425 Folsom Street) tonight from 6 p.m. to midnight. And yes, this is basically a guerrilla marketing technique for the new TV show, and they'll be making more appearances around the Bay all week, as Eater reports. The truck will circle back at lunchtime on Friday, parking outside AirBnB headquarters at 888 Brannan Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The whole thing is sponsored in part by Roaming Hunger, which is a service that books food trucks.

Oh, yeah. And all the food is free.

Cue the two-hour line.
