Marc Benioff now stands as my favorite mega CEO in SF. Why? Because tomorrow, Friday, March 7th, he's celebrating Salesforce's 15th anniversary with a free concert in Justin Herman Plaza starring Janelle Monáe!

Last year, if you recall, Monáe performed at Davies Symphony Hall with the San Francisco Symphony in what's now considered a historic performance. By which we mean, ladies in gowns and guys with busted cumberbunds were up on their seats dancing. No fibbing. It was that glorious. That magical. And now you can catch her tomorrow during your lunch hour.

Catherin Bigelow, of course, has the details: "At 12:30 p.m., Benioff will take the stage with Mayor Ed Lee to kick-off the concert."

Update: Have a heart and bring some food to the Monáe show, which will be collected and donated to the San Francisco Food Bank. What kind of food, you ask? According to SF Food Bank: "Our most-needed foods include tuna, canned meat, peanut butter, soup, chili, beans, cereal, canned fruit, canned vegetables, and granola bars. Please, do not deposit glass containers or perishable items in our food drive barrels."
