Last night around 11:15 p.m., the body of 54-year-old Natalie Blaugh was found in a garbage chute at the Hotel Sunrise on Valencia Street in the Mission.

According to San Francisco police spokesman officer Gordon Shyy, investigators searched the area and didn't see any signs of foul play. The case is not being investigated as a homicide and the Medical Examiner has yet to determine Blaugh's cause of death.

As for the hotel itself? SF Appeal/BCN notes, "an employee at the Hotel Sunrise, located at 447 Valencia Street, confirmed that the body was found there but declined to speak further about the case."
