It's frigid out, holiday commitments are weighing heavy, but you still have weeks of your regular work schedule to contend with before the festivities really kick in. It's almost too much for a person to bear, isn't it? Enter the Bay Brewed, tomorrow's festival of music and booze that offers a palliative for the December blues. Billed as "SF's only indie rock beer festival," the event is a collaboration between the Bay Bridged and The SF Brewer's Guild, and it's a happy merger, with loud music and libations being the two of the best ways to temporarily forget your troubles.

From 12:30pm to 6pm tomorrow, Public Works will host the event, which brings together the likes of local rock headliners Mikal Cronin and Shannon and the Clams, along with Kelley Stoltz, Golden Void, French Cassettes, Magic Fight and North Beach Brass Band. Both headliners are coming off new albums, so expect some fresh energy from both (listen to some sample tracks here and here).

Beer tastings will be all-you-can-drink, with unlimited pours from a host of local breweries. Look for brews from 21st Amendment Brewery, Almanac Beer Company, Anchor Brewing, Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant,Cerveceria de MateVeza, Headlands Brewing Company, Magnolia Gastropub & Brewery, Pacific Brewing Laboratory, Pine Street Brewery, Pizza Orgasmica & Brewery, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, ThirstyBear Brewing Company, and Triple Voodoo Brewing. A gentle recommendation? Don't you dare drive home.

To equalize all that beer, there will be food available from Doc's of the Bay and Korean BOB CHA. Ticket are going fast at $50 online, and will be available for $60 at the door.
