Local cancer patient and pretend super hero Batkid will return to San Francisco tomorrow after his recent victory lap through New York and probably a few naptimes. This time around, the celebrity five-year-old will use his superpower (winning hearts) to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish foundation and cheer on his crime-fighting pals in the San Francisco Police.

SFPD Chief Greg Suhr and other police officers will be doing a 5K fun run Saturday as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation's "Brave the Bay" Santa-themed triathlon, which also involves diving into the frigid bay at the aquatic park and a team of elves pulling a cable car. Miles "Batkid" Scott will lead the fun run, which starts tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. near Jefferson and Hyde Streets.

The event hopes to raise another $75,000 for the Bay Area Make-A-Wish foundation and, as we've mentioned before, Miles' family has also started the Batkid fund to give back to the organizations that helped Miles after he was diagnosed with Leukemia.
