Still a bargain compared to other public transit-heavy cities, the Muni Pass will go up starting June 17. The price of an adult fast pass and an adult Muni-only pass will go up by $2 -- $76 and $66, respectively. The senior and youth passes will be $23 per month, which is only a $1 bump.

According to reports, "the rate increase was scheduled in 2011 as part of the city Municipal Transportation Agency’s two-year budget." The increase is based on inflation rates.

Also, starting in July, parking fees, fines, and parking permits will go up. An annual permit will go from $104 to $109. And, among other fine increases, getting the boot removed from your car will go from $300 to $312.
