Good news for theater fans, and South Park fans, and fans of all things funny and awesome. The Book of Mormon is returning to S.F., this time to the Orpheum Theater, for an eight-week run beginning Thanksgiving week. We predicted it would be back, as the first run was extremely short and sold out instantly, and a second touring company was already in the works. See SFist's review from last November here.

The show will play from November 27 to January 19.

SHN just announced the run, and this time they're not selling tickets via subscription only, however they are offering a promotion to subscribers who renew now, giving them the ability to purchase up to 6 tickets apiece. Book of Mormon won't, however, be part of the regular season subscription package. Tickets are not on sale yet, but we'll alert you as soon as they are. Prices for the run have so far ranged from $42 to $250. Call 888-746-1799 for more info.

The 2013-2014 season also includes Tony winning musical Once, the popular and Tony-nominated Peter and the Starcatcher, and the new and controversial adaptation of Gershwin's Porgy & Bess.
