A parking lot fender bender led to an angry confrontation in the Bayview Monday afternoon that left a 74-year-old man in life-threatening condition. The trouble started when two cars collided in a parking lot near Third Street and Wallace Avenue. Both male drivers got out of their cars, and one punched the older man in the face, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head.

He was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. This all happened around 5 p.m. Monday.

There's no description of the suspect, and his vehicle, in which he immediately fled, is described only as black.
