As you know, we're completely mesmerized by SFPD's Vimeo channel, which the department has been using to crowdsource justice lately. A local version of America's Most Wanted, if you will. The latest video comes from security cameras at two separate family-run pharmacies in the Richmond and Sunset Districts where armed thugs broke in and raided each place for prescription oxycodone earlier this month. The TV doesn't lie, folks, being in the middle of a stickup does not look fun:

The first incident happened around 1:45 p.m. on Monday, January 14th at a small pharmacy on the 1900 block of Clement Street near 20th Avenue. In the video, one masked suspect with a gun can be seen hopping the counter like he's in an action movie while the second pushes someone to the ground and walks through the aisles, apparently also brandishing a handgun. According to the police report the two suspects raided the store for oxycodone, taking several medications with "Oxy" on the label.

The second incident happened later that same day around 6:40 p.m. in the Sunset. While the neighborhood was different, the suspects' MO was the same: a small, family-run pharmacy with few customers in it. The two suspects can be seen on the video, strolling in and drawing weapons on an unsuspecting employee. The employees were ordered to get on the ground while the two men raided a cabinet for more oxycodone, which they dumped into a backpack before taking off.

SFPD believes the two suspects were the same in both incidents. They are both black males in their early 20's, thin build, and about 5'10". Both were wearing black pants, black sneakers and a black ski jacket. The counter-hopping suspect has a "possibly pudgy nose" according to the report, was carrying a blue backpack seen in the video and may be left-handed.

No one was injured in either incident, but SFPD asks anyone who may have seen these guys fleeing either scene to give them a call on the anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or via text message to TIP411.

As an aside: we will refrain from dubbing these guys the "Rx Bandits" that name is taken.
