R.E.M. released their fifteenth and final studio album last year, Collapse Into Now. It's the only album of songs that the band has never performed live, since they broke up right after its completion. Now we have a video for the song Blue directed by James Franco, and featuring photographer Terry Richardson and several appearances by Lindsay Lohan, posing for Richardson. The video actually seems to be about Lohan, sort of, and has shots of her favorite L.A. haunts, the Chateau Marmont and the Roosevelt Hotel. There's no sign of Michael Stipe on screen, however, which is probably a good thing. [Vulture]
