Heads up, seasonal depressives, Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend. That means we all get an extra hour of sleep on Sunday before we enter that SAD-inducing part of the year where it becomes impossible to leave the office while the sun is still out. On the bright side, San Francisco's long dark journey into Winter looks like it will be tempered by another mini heatwave next week.

Temperatures are expected to break 70 degrees on Sunday and could stay in the low-to-mid-70s until the rain strikes again next weekend. So, if you didn't already blow all your vacation days this week recovering from the World Series, skipping work for the victory parade, or just being hungover from too much candy, then now would be a good time to play hooky and take advantage of some park days before the rains come and it's time to start spending your weekends in Tahoe.
