While "Rally Zito" has been a popular topic on Twitter today as the San Francisco Giants look to stay alive in the NLCS, we here at SFist would like to put a little faith in an even more simian good luck charm this afternoon. Hoping to get some good news from San Francisco's unofficial Rally Monkey today, SFist checked in with the fine folks from the Primate Center at the San Francisco Zoo to see how our girl was feeling before a crucial game 5.

While the lucky François' Langur still doesn't have a name (we shall continue to call her "Posey" for the time being, because: awww), zoo spokesperson Abbie Tuller fills us in on her condition via email:

Our Francois’ langur keeper reports that the baby is very mobile today and is looking very healthy. He hasn’t heard her squeal at all today, which we take as a sign that all is well in her world. In today’s foggy mist, she appears to be especially bright orange... Go Giants!

Hear that? Healthy and mobile! What more could you ask for in a tiny primate that has suddenly and unnecessarily had the weight of a World Series berth placed upon her tiny, orange shoulders?

On the other hand, if your religious baseball fanaticism tends more towards a creationist perspective, we've also got MLB Jesus on our side. So, at least we've got that going for us:
