Back in January we told you about the new concert documentary Shut Up and Play the Hits which follows LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy in the days surrounding the band's final show at Madison Square Garden. San Francisco loves Murphy, and the late band, and the Roxie is for some reason only screening the doc for two nights, tonight and tomorrow (with a third screening on September 1). Mission Mission anticipates it will be a party, and in the film's honor, Dalva next door will be hosting an official pre-party for the 11 p.m. screenings, featuring an all-LCD playlist from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Also, Mission Mission's Allan Hough promises "THERE WILL BE DANCING IN THE AISLES."
