A 27-year-old man who attended last night's Giants-Dodger's game at AT&T Park disappeared suddenly off of Pier 30/32 where his friend had parked his car. The friend was replying to a text message last night inside the car when the victim disappeared briefly, and was last scene wandering near the pier's edge. His friend believes he fell into the Bay. A search by the Coast Guard went on overnight, and was just called off, though he has not been found.

The victim is described as a 27-year-old Hispanic male who was wearing a blue jacket. It's safe to assume he may not have been sober at the time. Nevertheless, a tragedy.

SFFD spokewoman Mindy Talmadge tells ABC that if the currents were running fast in the Bay, the victim "could have been pulled out quite a ways," and search teams were checking the shores of Treasure Island and Alcatraz. Divers were also checking around the pier this morning. As of this morning the searchers were still "hoping for the best," but at this point it is unlikely he will be found alive.
