ART: MCCLA presents La Quebradora, an exhibition of Contemporary Art from Mexico curated by Amy Pederson that uses lucha libre, or Mexican professional wrestling, as a platform for mapping Mexico’s cultural history and its social relations that echo beyond the ring, featuring video, sculpture, painting, and performance and addressing the exhibit’s central themes of redemption, salvation, identity and the spectacle.
