Two dirtbags outside a Polk Street bar were arrested after one of them fired a gun into the air. The shooting was reported at around 1:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Polk Street. Daly City resident Frederick Ortanez, 30, and South San Francisco's Donnie Rodriguez, 29, were taken into custody after officers responded to the shooting. "Witnesses reported seeing two suspects leaving the scene in a white SUV, which was stopped by officers a short time later in the city's Tenderloin neighborhood," reports SF Appeal. "The two people inside the car were identified as the suspects involved in the Polk Street incident."

Ortanez was booked on "suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an inhabited dwelling, possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm within city limits," while Rodriguez was "booked on suspicion of possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle."

No one was hurt during the bout of gunfire. Thankfully.
