The power of the internet, ladies and gentlemen! 700-pound 23-year-old Robert Gibbs of Livermore, whose YouTube plea we and everyone else took note of last week, is in fact going to be on the Dr. Phil show just like he wanted. A crew from the show is scheduled to arrive at Gibbs' home tomorrow, Wednesday, to shoot a segment and hopefully to get some help from the "doctor."

KCBS further reports that Gibbs can not stand up for more than a few minutes at a time, and he has sores all over his body from his sedentary life. Also, he has diabetes.

Gibbs was hoping to get some professional help because he would like to live long enough to see his niece and new nephew grow up. He's now signed an exclusivity agreement with Dr. Phil and isn't speaking to any other members of the media.
