Polyamorous former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, remarkably still campaigning for the GOP presidential ticket, was in the Bay Area this weekend to speak at the California Republican convention in Burlingame. Before giving a speech to the Bay Area Republicans, Gingrich chatted with political reporters Carla Marinucci and Joe Garofoli of The Chronicle. The conversation was, in a word, fascinating.
