Initially expected to open on Tuesday morning, the San Francisco Bay Bridge will open all westbound lanes starting at 8 p.m. Sunday night. According to Caltrans spokesman Bart Ney, crews will start removing safety cones at around 7 p.m., allowing vehicles on westbound lanes by 8 p.m. So, for those of you in Eastern SOMA who've enjoyed the relative peace and quiet, it's over. Alas.
