Morgellons Disease A Crock Says CDC; Not So Says Bay Area Doctor

morgellons-fibers.jpg
A popular internet image of Morgellons "fibers."
The CDC just conducted their first official study into the validity of Morgellons disease — a bizarre phenomenon in which patients, including Joni Mitchell, insist that they have small fibers or threads growing under the skin and causing constant discomfort. The study involved a group of Bay Area patients, and the conclusion wasn't what they wanted to hear. Essentially, they're all crazy.

Morgellons is arguably a group-think delusion, borne in the age of the internet when people compare symptoms and identify diseases they think they have, all by themselves. But at least one Bay Area doctor who treats 60 Morgellons patients here believes the symptoms are real. His name is Dr. Rafael Stricker, and he also specializes in Lyme disease. He says he'll continue to conduct his own research, and he's glad the CDC even bothered to look into it.

The symptoms reported range from "lesions," a "tingling" or "popping" under the skin, "body bugs," and tiny filaments or fibers growing in or under the skin that most experts agree are likely clothing fibers that have become stuck to the skin. Sites like this one try to suggest the fibers are some form of nanotechnology (!), but otherwise there has been no scientific analysis using an example of one of these fibers from a patient. Some say the fibers "float away." Update: It turns out the CDC did test fibers from patients, when available, and found them to be typically nylon, cotton, or other clothing fiber, or human hair.

The CDC did find some interesting trends in the 115 patients in the NorCal Kaiser Permanente system who had similar symptoms: they are primarily middle-aged white women, and 60% showed cognitive issues, including memory problems. Two thirds reported chronic fatigue. An earlier study by Mayo Clinic researchers suggested Morgellons was linked to delusional parasitosis.

  • Something else I'd like to point out is the "visitors" page on Clifford Carnicom's website (a link is located near the bottom of his articles page at carnicominstitute.org) where he publishes his research on Morgellon's, chemtrails/geoengineering and the connection between the two. Considering that the establishment would like us to believe that chemtrails are an unfounded conspiracy theory, or hoax, and that Morgellon's is a delusion, it is interesting that Boeing, the Pentagon, various defense contractors, various arms of the US army and navy, NASA, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb and other pharmaceutical companies, Monsanto, the Mayo Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, the US senate and numerous other such organisations have all visited Carnicom's website. Many are repeat visitors, with Boeing having visited the site no less than 100 times! You would think if the guy was as crazy as they make him out to be, all these important visitors wouldn't give him the time of day. His work has attracted a lot of attention from people in high places and I think it's because Clifford's work is valid and threatens their agenda.

  • The reason the mainstream medical establishment is presenting Morgellon's as a mental illness is because the truth is it is actually MANMADE self-assembling, self-replicating nanotech that is literally genetically modifying the entire human species. See the work of Clifford Carnicom, for starters.

The nano particles responsible for Morgellon's are so pervasive in the environment that it would be impossible not to have this in your system. This is the big coverup and this is why they are trying to make us look crazy. You people who are not sick and are not seeing fibers are only "well" because your immune sysytems are comprimised and are not rejecting this material, which has been found to be made up of cellulose, polyethylene and silicone among other things.

I just posted an article on my blog at stopgeoengineering.com entitled "Why Morgellon's Should (But WON'T) Be The Top News Story of 2012". I will be adding references tomorrow but in the meantime, have a look at Carnicom's work on Morgellon's, as well as the research of Dr. Hildegarde Staninger. Oh and hey, if anyone doesn't believe me, contact me via my blog and I will happily send you some of this imaginary fiber from my mind that has been oozing out of my skin every day and you can decide for yourself whether you think it's just clothing fibers. I actually thought (hoped!) at first it might be towel fibers, since I see most of them after a hot bath. Then I started air-drying and by gum they're still there! Oh, and there is no chance I have delusional parasitosis because I KNOW I don't have parasites. I have an infestation of synthetic fibers that are the result of self replicating nanotech. If you still the veracity of "conspiracy theories" suggesting Morgellon's is manmade, or that it may even be part of a plan to depopulate the earth and control the survivors, I suggest you educate yourself on the modern eugenics movement (rebranded "transhumanism") and watch the documentary film "Endgame: Blueprint For Global Enslavement". Put aside any prejudice you may have toward the film's producer and check the facts for yourself. I challenge you to debunk any of the information presented therein.

  • Wow, you people who believe this can't be real are the real nuts. Many currently recognized diseases were scoffed at when they were first brought up in the medical community.  Most answers in medicine are 'we don't know', this appears to be another example. My ex has it.   She was an extremely happy, upbeat, and healthy person before this weird disease sapped so much from her.  She has definitely never done meth.  I look at the distribution of patients in warm coastal states and wonder if there is some connection there to what appears to be parasitic in nature.

Based on the description, I think they simply don't bathe enough. Shower, put on clean clothes, wash your bedsheets more often. Problem solved.

This just saddens me too end, my sister has been suffering nearly 8
years now with this I have done so much research that it led me to
believe that for her particular case it was somehow contracted through
the soil in here pond. Prior to the outbreak of sores on her body she
explained and described the very same things far before Morgellons was
even a thought in the internets head. Her dog who was a young healthy
lab first began when she drank from the pond water, within months she
got a strange rash that was incurable- the vet’s could not help her nor
figure out what is was, he health deteriated and within 3 years she was
lame in the legs and was visablly suffering. My sister made the choice
to put her to sleep so she would not continue to suffer, at this point
in time my sister a year earlier prior to her dogs death began with a
larger ammount of sores I have pics to proof and she Is not a meth user
or mentally ill. She is a normal person who has suffered so greatly
since the beginning of this nightmare that my heart has been broken for
her and that is why I continue to try to the best of my knowledge to
find a way to make sense of this. It is now 2012, my sister is so
debilitated that she is covered in lesions that are now all infected,
that is the problem also at hand the secondary infections that come with
the disease. She is mentally foggy now all the time, her speech is that
of a person who has had a stroke, her teeth all all falling out on
their own, her hair is falling out. She has lost most of her hearing.
She is continually confused and tries the best she can to stay clear and
focused but that is the later progression of this condition- the sores
are half the battle, its the neurological distruction that poses the
greatest threat of all. The quality of life is zero now, she stays home
all the time since people look at her and treat her like she is a
contaminated monster. She has a heart of gold, and leans on her faith is
Christ that somehow he will make sense of all this and cure her. Like
most people suffering the medical field offers no help, rather just
makes a mock of you! I have went to numerous medical appointments with
her to be a mentor and advocate for her since she can barely face a
thing now. The shame that comes with this disease, making you not even
recognizable to your self or your children is the greatest loss. I
believe my sister will lose her life to this and its a damn shame that
many others in the next 5-10 years will be at the same stage my sister
is at. The end basically. And why? Because she was an outdoors girl that
had her hands in the dirt too much?? The awnsers will never be told,
but I will stand tall to tell her story when she can not. There is more
then meets the eyes, this is not in peoples heads or they would never
have spend $600,000 researching it in the first place and that is the
bottom line, I believe the findings were too scary- and in time the
    truth will be told.

  • exbaytriate

i agree 100% with the other commenters and would like to add that perhaps you should also seek therapy to help you deal with this issue that is consuming your sister and your family.

on a medical front, there are known potential contaminants that are transferable through soil and other mediums. scrapie which is similar in origin to mad cow's disease could account for self inflicted sores and loss of mental cognition. A wiki article exists, and here is the exposure section:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S...

there is no existing evidence of transfers of scrapie to humans, but that doesn't mean it's not possible as the infection agent is a protein and the mode of infection is not well understood, just like Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and mad cow.

  • CptSludge

"this is not in peoples heads or they would never have spend $600,000 researching it in the first place"

You are aware that hundreds of millions of dollars are spent researching treatments for mental illness?

There's nothing wrong with seeking help for mental illness and those millions of research dollars have lead to some very sophisticated and effective treatments.

  • First of all, I am very sorry to know your sister is suffering. I do not intend to mock her, or you. But, please, if you and your sister want her health back, or at least to understand what is causing the open sores and mental fog, you cannot take this line of thinking: "The answers will never be told..." If there is a cause for your sister's illness, it can be found. And why is it so impossible that the cause may be mental? Mental illnesses are diseases just as much as diabetes or chickenpox. The mind has an incredibly powerful effect on the body; indeed, without the mind, we can't do a thing. We can't eat without our minds deciding to open our mouths and chew the food we put there. Why do you (and your sister, I assume) reject the possibility that a trauma has affected her mind, which has then affected her body?

  • withak30

Your sister should seek psychiatric help FYI.

  • fizzandpop

The CDC needs to do a study to find out why 60% of middle-aged white women are such pussies.

  • fizzandpop

    Smartmeters

  • warpinsf

It's actually quite simple: they're strands of genetically modified high-fructose corn syrup.

  • exbaytriate

ask the patients who put the fibers there and you'll have hallmark two of paranoid schizophrenia.

    A.K.A. Day 5 of a meth bender.
