Happy Thanksgiving from the fine folks at SFist. If you don't know what to make this year, you still have time to prepare this delightful savory bread pudding care of Mary Risley, fledgling internet star of "Just Put the F*cking Turkey in the Oven."

Also, as SFist commenter RickRescue points out, today is the start of suicide season. (A myth according to Snopes.) To which we say: Do not commit suicide. Call the San Francisco Suicide Prevention hotline instead at (415) 781-0500. Or make some damn good bread pudding. Either or. Both yield life-affirming results.

Speaking of staying alive, do not imbibe and drive, please. AAA offers free 10-mile tow home for Thanksgiving boozers and their vehicles through their program, which is open to both AAA members and non-members. "The service is available 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day until 6 a.m. Friday, reports BCN. "During that time, drivers, potential passengers, party hosts, bartenders and restaurant managers can call (800) 222-4357 (AAA-HELP) for a free tow home up to 10 miles."

To sum up, make a good bread pudding and stay alive. That's all we ask of you, dear readers. Have a good one.
