SFPD are searching for two men suspected of robbing and raping a woman at gunpoint in a Lombard Street motel last month. According to police reports, one of the two suspects made contact with the victim through myredbook.com, an online directory of escorts and masseuses.

The first suspect met the victim at the undisclosed hotel on October 28th, at which point he paid the victim for consensual sex before calling his friend who did the same while suspect one waited outside. Surveillance cameras at the motel show the pair loitered around the area for several hours before suspect one returned to rob and rape the victim at gunpoint. Police assume they were waiting for the victim to "have more customers and more cash."

Although SFPD hasn't had any similar reports recently, it's likely not the first time these suspects have victimized women that utilize such websites.

Anyone with information on these two suspects is encouraged to call Inspector Vince Repetto at SFPD's Special Victims Unit at (415) 553-9117.
