This morning, the Examiner returns with the third installment of their Man vs. Muni series in which an intrepid transit reporter bravely walks some number of blocks along a busy Muni route to determine who is faster once and for all. (Or at least until the next service disruption.) Today's episode pits our hero against the 14-Mission. It's a grueling six block race along Mission Street's miracle mile in SoMa from First to Seventh. We won't spoil who won the race but someone does end up getting punched in the face on the street. So there's your lesson: walking instead of taking the Muni will get you punched in the face. Actually, there's a strong chance you could get punched in the face any time you take Muni as well, so it's pretty much a lose-lose here.
