Have you heard about Wilson & Wilson? It's the new reservation-only, bar-within-a-bar at Bourbon & Branch where you can have an even more exclusive, more haute cocktail experience than is even available at B&B these days, now that everyone and their broker knows about it. The deal is this: two bartenders from B&B decided to create an experience where customers could interact more with bartenders, and create a list of cocktails -- including a $30, three-course prix fixe option -- with special ingredients and tinctures you won't find just anywhere, so that the cocktail geek might truly have a chance to geek out and get drunk all at once. If you go for the three-course thing, you choose from a monthly changing list of aperitifs, "mains," and digestifs, and you'll get to sample a bunch of flavor combinations you might not have thought possible before -- leather, tobacco, and cinammon, anyone?

Below, we bring you one of our favorite drinks on the current list, the Hard Boiled, which is one of many drinks on the list with noir-ish names, because the theme of the place is a detective agency. Click over to The Tender to learn a bit about the name (it involves a purse and a driver's license from the 1930s found wedged in a wall of the bar's basement, which was itself a real speakeasy back then), and head in yourself if you want to try one of these, since we doubt most of you will be able to find Cardamaro, or will feel like infusing your orange bitters with cinnamon.

Hard Boiled

1.5 oz. Hayman's Old Tom Gin
.5 oz. Laird's Bonded Apple Brandy
.5 oz. Cardamaro
.5 oz. Zucca Amaro
2 dashes of Cinnamon infused Angostura Orange Bitters

Stirred and served over a large rock with an Orange Twist.
