A New York-based research firm has quantified the loyalty of every major league baseball team by "assessing the data based on factors driven by on-field success, fan bonding with players and the franchise's history and tradition." While we have some great on-field success and fan bonding here in San Francisco, we couldn't beat out the Phillies and their (ahem) Phanatics who pulled in the #1 Most Loyal Spot. Still, at number 4 we're more loyal than the Dodgers' fashionista fanbase. Hoards of brainwashed Yankee fans put that team in second place and scores of drunk Bostonians put the Red Sox in third.
