Ashlee "Star" Haley, the SF State cheerleading coach on trial for embezzling some $20,000 of team funds has plead guilty to her charges, which officially makes her a felonious cheerleader, at least for the time being. According to the Chronicle if she complies with all the conditions of her plea deal, which includes five days in county lockup and 200 hours of community service, that conviction will be reduced to a misdemeanor. While county jail is no place for a girl with a nickname like "Star", we hope she can find a less financially solvent little league cheerleading squad to coach while making up those 200 hours.

In addition to jail time, community service and paying back all $14,684 that she spent on a trip to the Rio Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, Haley also got stuck with this very fatherly lecture from District Attorney George Gascon: "While the victims in this case will be financially made whole, nothing can replace the experience of being part of a college cheerleading club."
