Speaking of tacky gossip news: Kirsten Dunst was spotted at Zeki's in Nob Hill this week. She is in town to shoot the final scenes for the movie adaptation of Jack Kerouac's On the Road, in which she plays the twice-knocked-up Camille to Garrett Hedlund's free-spirited Dean Moriarty. She also appears to be the only adult in a cast full of children, but we're sure they will all explode on screen like fabulous yellow Roman candles.

In the meantime, keep an eye out for film crews at Filbert and Leavenworth, 23rd and Carolina and on the Bay Bridge. [SFExaminer]

UPDATE: The Appeal has a nice roundup of all the film shoots going on around town this week. It's all lies and Hollywood magic though: On the Road is mostly shot in Canada and a Sprite commercial in North Beach featuring LeBron James will add in the NBA star later in editing. [Appeal]
