The woman pictured in the photo at right was brought into San Francisco General Hospital eleven days ago after she was found lying next to a wheelchair on the Embarcadero. She has not been able to tell the hospital staff her name, and they've been unable to identify her.

The patient, who is listed in critical condition, is a rather small woman at 4 feet 6 inches tall and 93 pounds. She's described as white, in her 50s or 60s with gray hair, blue eyes, and sunburned cheeks.

Anyone with information about her identity is asked to call hospital social worker Trevor Towne at (415) 206-5822.
