A little after noon today, an alleged case of road rage happened in the city's historic and so very richly-textured Mission District. A reader who asked to remain anonymous told us what went down:
Only cars were hit. The big pickup perpendicular to the street was the one who started it. Seems like road rage to all of us. He was screeching tires and then hit the other truck going west on 22nd, knocked it into a parked car and kept on the gas for a long while. The driver who started it walked into El Trebol and then later took off down Capp when the cops arrived.
The suspect is described as a skinny Latino guy with medium length hair wearing a white shirt.
