This Saturday night, Jenny McCarthy comes to S.F. to espouse her favorite subject: children with autism. Hilarious, right? No, not really. In fact, autism affects one in every 90 kids. Alas.

But! Here comes the funny part: McCarthy will host a bevvy of fit-for-cable-TV comedians, which we mean the the best way possible, at Comedy for Kids With Autism. Come listen to Chelsea Lately regulars Heather McDonald, Whitney Cummings, Josh Wolf and Gary Valentine do what they do best. Make you soil your panties via their dry wit.

What's more, the evening promises a "culinary extravaganza" featuring grub from some of the finest chefs and restaurants in town, including Joey Altman. Indeed.

Proceeds go to help Generation Rescue (who provide a "better quality of life for children with an Autism spectrum diagnosis, while researching the causative factors of Autism") and The Ryder Foundation (who help "provide funding to organizations that research the environmental causes of Autism and effectively treat afflicted children.") Update: Some think this isn't a good thing, so grain of salt, please.

Individual tickets run from the insanely expensive to reasonable: $500, $250, $150. (Come now, it's for charity.)
