Actually, here's your chance to skip the trip down 101 to the SF dump and instead check out "Art at the Dump: Twenty Years of the Artist In Residence Program" right downtown. Intersection for the Arts and Hub Bay Area are hosting a spectacular collection of sculpture, photography, painting, drawing, performance, video, textiles and more, all drawn from Recology's fantastic fellowship program that invites some of the Bay Area's most talented artists to make something wonderful out of all that crap you people keep throwing away. Program curator Deborah Munk will be on hand as will a bunch of burly, enthusiastic Recology execs and staffers, so be sure to thank them for all their hard work cleaning up after you.
