FILM: Get a peek at cutting edge pieces by emerging filmmakers on their way to festivals worldwide at SF State's The 50th Film Finals. The event primarily consists of shorts in animation, experimental, documentary, drama and film noir genres.

ART: Current Art at the Dump Artists in Residence, Josh Short and Ben Burke, will exhibit the culmination of four months work that was transformed out of scavenged materials. There will also be a retrospective exhibition celebrating the life of artist and former Artist in Residence Program staff member, Henri Marie-Rose (1922-2010) on exhibit.

LITERARY: Episode 29 of Literary Death Match will spotlight poetry, playwriting, and "bedlam," featuring Matthew Zapruder (author of three collections of poetry: American Linden, The Pajamaist, and Come On All You Ghosts), the Jeremy Hatch (film editor of TheRumpus.net), past beloved co-host/hula hooper/exotic dancer/playwright Braden Marks, and Randall Mann (author of the collection of poems Breakfast with Thom Gunn).
