We missed this completely earlier this week, so...here it is today. This past Friday, Latino gay nightclub Esta Noche was defaced with several Nazi swastikas. The bar's manager, Edgar Lopez, "came to work, saw the swastikas, but then quickly painted over them," notes AKA William.

While often a target of graffiti (the bar is, after all, located on 16th Street near Mission), this is the first time anyone has used Nazi signage.

Oddly enough, however, Lopez refused to report the crime to SFPD. "Lot of problems with police," Edgar Lopez said. "They have many paperwork and everything."

Esta Noche's co-owner thinks the bar may have been targeted "because the place is gay."
