It's the 40th anniversary of Earth Day this weekend. We were going to direct you to the Earth Day website for an exhaustive list of local events specific to Saturday and Sunday, but we guess that's too much to ask -- all sorts of dates are included. FunCheapSF has highlights though.

SFist also already mentioned the big Record Store Day on Saturday, so get some deals and check out some free, live entertainment. Also on Saturday is the awesome Goat Festival at the Ferry Building. Sample some goat milk cheeses, yogurts, kefirs and ice creams. Yum!

There will also be the adorable DogFest 2010 at Duboce Park to benefit McKinley Elementary School on Saturday, and the 1st Annual Bed Races in the Marina.

On Sunday, the Cherry Blossom Grand Parade will take place, and yet another Sunday Streets, which will be in Bayview -- sure to have a bigger turn-out than last soggy Sunday. It's also the 104th Anniversary of the 1906 Great Earthquake and Fire, so check out that line-up of events.
