Redheads Unite!

reba_mcentire_3.jpg

The LA Times reports that on November 20 several ginger-haired students were attacked. Why? Because of this vile Facebook page that urged its fans to humiliate and destroy those of us (such as your SFist editor) who are gifted with enviable red hair.

Last year's "Kick a Ginger Day" also resulted in the kicking of several auburn-haired Canadians.

But fear not, redheads of the world, for there are safe spaces. The Scavenger reveals several ginger-safe sites: Red and Proud (news, T-shirts, and a manifesto); Gingerism, a site that cracks the walnut that is redheadism in mainstream society; and info on Redhead day, September 5, 2010.

Redheads are okay as long as they don't have those weird dots all over their skin.

Nice portrait, Brock. I didn't think your locks would be so long and luxurious.

I'm sorry, gingies. But that is very, very, very funny.

The only issue I have with redheads is that there are never enough of them doing gay porn.

i love redheads, this is terrible :(

This is interesting; this afternoon on 19th street. I happened to meet the redhead I've had a crush on since about 1934...........sigh.
