Photos: Twitter's New Office

Moving out of the LoRi (Lower Outer Rincon Hill)/South Park neighborhood, the folks at Twitter moved up Third Street to a sweeter, swankier pad.

CEO Ev Williams's wife, Sara Morishige, reportedly aided with the interior design of the new office, reports Valleywag. Also, Twitter bees can also watch themselves in a mirror while they poop.

Makes your sad little nonprofit office looks that more little and sad, doesn't it? Enjoy.

Why do they even have an office? Seriously, a first year CS student could have made that site. There's nothing to it.

Regardless of whatever tech specs behind it (I'm admittedly truly ignorant of such matters): really?

Anyway, it looks like the Hayes Valley Fritz Fries.

Too bad twitter doesn't serve Chimay and fries.

Have you ever actually *used* Twitter? It's the simplest thing ever.

"a first year CS student could have made that site"

Yeah -- but they couldn't have kept it up past a million users.

This is similar to the argument some people use when they criticize art: "This is art? Meh, I can do that." It's not a matter of who can do it. The fact that they did it is what matters..

brock this one hit way too close to home :(

but you're making the world a better place!

Considering Twitter itself has yet to turn profit...

Then again, if my company had the B and C funding rounds Twitter did, I guess I might spring for new digs, too. Those deer heads are so 2008, though.

Dude, I have the right-most dear head in my media room. And, uh yeah, I did get it in 2008.

looks great except for the turntables.

Oh, that bathroom mirror thing is old news. They do that at the Grant & Bush Starbucks.

It is like Pandora's design box was opened and every bad design trend from the last few years has been unleashed.

But then, the people in the sad little nonprofit office can laugh and laugh when everybody decides Twitter is so 2009 and all the pretty office furniture gets sold off by the same people selling off deer heads from MySpace and Facebook offices.

ahh, mundane san fran news, that's more like it.

WTF is twitter ...? 140 words , are people serious send me a e-mail

What is the business of Twitter? I understand what they're offering, I use it to tedious overshare. What I'd like to know is what, exactly, that they are selling that would require a big office and workers and so forth.

Anyone? A little help, here?

twitter owns everything that you put up there and search engines moving in direction of 'real time' search are willing to pay for access to the data streams (google and bing recently cut deals with twitter).

Cool! It looks like the Webvan offices.

Can you tag the first picture with a 'douchetard' alert?

Is this real? Very intriguing twitter office.e cigarette

Looks just like the Scient offices in late 2000 - we moved into a ridiculous new space, with custom carpets even, just before they laid all of us off.

I

@SaraMorishige - Keep your day job.
