Toilet Torcher Makes A Comeback

Let's face it, the Carsonist has been a pale imitation of the infamous Toilet Torcher. Which is why we were amused to hear that the Toilet Torcher (or a copycat) made a dramatic return at around 1 a.m. this morning in the city's Pac Heights hood.

Things may be cooking up again"with an outhouse going up at 1818 Broadway at just before 1 a.m. this morning," according to SF Weekly. If you recall, porta-potties were set ablaze in 2008 in the northeastern part of San Francisco during an arson spree that saw over two dozen outhouse crappers immolated to a crisp. Even Oakland-based Clorox got in on the action by offering a $5,000 reward and a year's supply of toilet cleaning products for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the Toilet Torcher.
