In even more depressing 49ers news -- more on yesterday's loss later, as soon as we coax Daisy down from the ledge -- former Niners great, BALCO fibber, and snitch Dana Stubblefield has been hit with a restraining order by his former fiancee. Why? Because, according to his ex, he's not a well man.
ABC 7's Dan Noyes reports that Stubblefield's former girlfriend, Melanie Wade, 26, fears for her life as the footballer's "dangerous" behavior gets worse by the day. It seems Wade contacted Noyes because "she is worried the authorities are not doing enough to protect her from Stubblefield."
"He would lock me in and not let me leave the house, and tell me threats, like 'I'm not done with you 'til you're six feet under,' like 'I'm the only man you're going to be with,'" she said when discussing their relationship.
He also allegedly tried to run her over while she was riding on her bike. Charming.
Stubblefield, for those of you who don't know, was handed a reduced sentence of two years probation and a $5,000 fine during the BALCO scandal after he "cooperated with investigators, 'providing the names of players, trainers, and others associated with the NFL who may be involved in on-going activities with illegal drugs in professional football.'" Stubblefield and Wade's relationship deteriorated soon thereafter.

Ms. Wade should just legally change her name to Quarterback. Then Stubblefield would never be able to get to her.

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, You need to get your facts right. Melanie is Very mad and Jealous that Dana is with another woman. She is so use to getting money, she is very upset because she is broke and doesnt have money comming in. Second of all terri hasn't have had two restraining order's. Get the facts before you start slandering shit........Melanie needs to grow up, get a job and take responsiblities. If you don't know Dana dont say anything because he will and would give you the shirt off his back. Anyone that know's him know's!! Anyone else jumping on the band wagen get a life.
BTW I know all three of these people, So my fact's are correct.And if Melanie was so scared why didn't she fie before..HMM, she filed after Dana was in a relationship to someone else..Why wasn't there ever police reports?? come on people..Listen to half of what you hear and ALL what you see..Hater's out there.. right Mel, the truth will come out..You go Dana and Teri you guy's are great together..She is just jealous
