How are these guys that popular? Weren't they nobody 1 year ago? They're good n all, but that good?
I saw MGMT last year at Slim's and they were terrible live. It was an awful show.
I was on the ticketweb site about 10 minutes before hand, getting ready to load up the page to get a couple of tickets. At noon it went to a "waiting in line" screen, and five minutes later I see over the Twitter feed that the show has sold out. Amazing. Oh well - I will just wait to see Phish cover the album on Halloween down in Indio, CA!
MGMT. Ugh.
I might go to a show for a chance to seduce and sleep with the lead singer, but I'm not sure if sitting through their music is worth it.
